I am a graduate of the Jagiellonian University and the Cracow University of Health Promotion. I completed the Montessori course. Privately I am a satisfied mother of 3 wonderful children. I created Seaside Montessori Preschool out of passion and love for children. It is an intimate, family place, where, we are guided by respect, kindness, goodness, empathy, cordiality, good education. I aspire for our kindergarten to be a happy, carefree place where children under our care will shape their personality, develop their interests, build and nurture social relationships and explore knowledge in a manner consistent with Dr. Maria Montessori's teaching.
By education, I am a teacher of English, which I have been teaching since 2006. I graduated from the Foreign Language Training College in Gdansk and completed my master's degree in philology at the University of Gdansk. Montessori pedagogy stood on my path in 2015; since then, it has become a permanent part of my life. It has captivated me, first of all, with its respect for the child, belief in the child's abilities, and strengthening the child's independence in everyday life and education. I gained experience as a Montessori teacher by working in a Montessori elementary school in grades I-III and a Montessori kindergarten. Through my work in these institutions, I combined my love of English and Montessori philosophy and pedagogy. I have completed a course in Montessori early childhood education and English in the Montessori Method.
I am a graduate of General Pedagogy with a specialization in School Pedagogy with Cultural Animation. I completed the Montessori Pedagogy course in the field of Preschool Education, the Art Therapy Course in Education, and the English Language Training in Early Childhood Education. During my studies, I had the opportunity to learn about different types of alternative education, and the Montessori method captivated me the most. The beautiful thing about it is that the teacher only shows the child the possibilities, and the child can choose its own path and develop wonderfully. This trust in a child is remarkable. Working with children gives me a lot of satisfaction and drives me to self-improvement. In my spare time, I practice yoga and explore the culture of the Far East.
My name is Ramona Kozak and I am an early childhood education teacher by training. I started my adventure with education at the Naval Academy where I graduated from integrated early childhood education with preschool education. Later I began my master's studies at the University of Gdansk, in the field of innovative didactics with Montessori pedagogy. It was then that I had the opportunity to learn about Montessori pedagogy and it enthralled me from the very beginning. Working with this method is a new fascinating challenge for me, which I will explore further. I also completed a course in art therapy and Veronica Sherborne's developmental movement. In my work with children, I mainly try to build children's independence and self-confidence.
I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Special Pedagogy in Poznan and am pursuing my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education Pedagogy at the University of Gdansk.
For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed moments spent with children, at first in the form of playing with younger colleagues, then working as a nanny.
The adventure with Maria Montessori's pedagogy is a new fascinating challenge for me, which I want to explore and discover.
In my work, I am guided by the principle that children are capable of self-development and achieving any goals with a properly prepared space. So every day, I try to create attractive conditions for them to arouse their cognitive curiosity.
