ABOUT US

The Bilingual Seaside Montessori Preschool in Gdańsk is a place created with passion and dedication – for children who deserve a special start in life. We operate a bilingual program in which Polish and English accompany the children simultaneously throughout the day, ensuring full language immersion in a natural environment of play and learning. We combine the proven Montessori method with a child-centered approach to education based on respect, understanding, and an individualized approach to each child. We believe that a child’s development flourishes best in contact with nature – which is why our preschool in Gdańsk Jelitkowo/Żabianka is located just a few minutes from the sea and a park, where we go for daily walks filled with discovery and carefree play.
We believe that every child possesses immense potential. Our task is to support it, not to limit it.

Healthy, delicious meals that we prepare ourselves

At our Montessori preschool in Gdańsk, we prepare breakfast and lunch ourselves, placing the utmost importance on the quality of ingredients and organic certifications. We bake our own banana bread, carrot cake, and vegetable muffins. The children’s plates feature organic eggs, cheeses, cold cuts, and a wide selection of colorful fruits and vegetables. In the summer, we make smoothies with seasonal fruits; in the winter, we serve warm millet pudding, oatmeal, and apple pancakes. We do not use sugar or wheat flour.

The classrooms at our Montessori preschool in Gdańsk are bright, spacious, and decorated with natural materials in calm, pastel colors that promote concentration. The educational materials are engaging and are regularly updated. The garden is a green space where children interact with nature every day, grow their own fruits and vegetables in a large vegetable garden, and play and experiment outdoors.

-The psychologist ensures emotional well-being, helping children build relationships and understand their emotions, while assisting parents and teachers in identifying the individual needs of each preschooler.
The constant presence of specialists ensures quick, discreet, and trust-based intervention – children feel safe, and parents have peace of mind.

Jahan Nurmuhammedova

International Montessori Educator & Program Leader

Jahan is an experienced educator with an international background and over 20 years of teaching experience in schools around the world. She is originally from Turkmenistan, where she graduated from a Pedagogical College, and later continued her studies in the United States. She has worked in Turkey, Vietnam, and international schools, gaining extensive experience working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds. Since 2021, she has been part of our school community as a Montessori teacher and the Director of the Montessori Program. With great passion, she supports children in discovering the world, developing independence, and building confidence in their own abilities. In her personal life, Jahan enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, cooking, and learning languages – she speaks as many as six.
